Relief....
Today was a great day. I did something I have been wanting to do for a while now and I feel so relieved. I quit my job as a manager at work. In 3 weeks I will no longer have to do the schedule, worry about labour, reprimanding my staff, doing staff reviews, worry about hiring and firing people. I feel so amazing, not to mention I will probably still make more money serving than managing. I know some people may be upset by this decision (sorry girls) but it is something I had to do for my own sanity. I decided to stay because I would miss you girls so much, and Phil I didn't forget about you. I want you all to know I have never had such a great staff of servers and bartenders work for me before. You guys are amazing and now I am going to be one of you. Thankyou for all your help and making my job easier. I greatly appreciate all you have done and I am glad that we have all become so close.
Thanks so much guys for putting up with me :)

The Bug.....
Well last night was the first night that I have had to help my poor little girl because she had the flu. I knew the day was coming that it would happen considering she is almost 4 years old and she is now playing with many more kids. She was so brave! Braver than I am when I have the flu. She had a fever so I gave her some medicine to bring it down and next thing I know she is calling me from her bedroom that she had thrown up all over herself and the bed. She was white as a ghost. After I cleaned her up and put her back to bed, I put a bucket beside her pillow and told her if you feel sick again you try to throw up in the bowl. Sure enough about half an hour later I heard her getting sick. I went into her bedroom and she was getting sick in the bowl just like I told her. What a good girl. I was so proud of her yet I felt so helpless to make her feel better. I always thought that when this happened I would be so grossed out by it (for all that you know me, don't get me wrong I was gaging) but I was so sad for her.

Later today she was explaining to a friend of ours about how she had been sick the night before. She told him that she had Frown Up and had the Beaver. (Meaning Fever). It was so cute. She is feeling better now and is back to her cheery self.

Yummy Dinner
Well last night we invited our friends Shalane and Phil over for dinner. Joe (my magnificent chef hunny) cooked an amazing dinner which included shish kabobs, asparagus, corn on the cob and prawns. I had such a great time. We drank some wine, ate some great food, and of course me and Shalane caught up on some gossip. Joe loves hanging out with Phil. When they left he said to me, anytime you want to have them over no problem they're an awsome couple. I really like Phil, he's such a nice guy. Anyway, we had a really good time, amazing food great wine and even better company. Hope we can do it again soon guys!
