Photo Update.
No I did not find my camera but Jillian got a new kids digital camera so I thought I would share some of those pictures. The pictures turn out not half bad from a kids camera. Plus my blog was totally missing some pictures.

Isn't she cute!!! She's the best!

Caffine Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think its time to finally update. Quickly, because I want to actually get to bed early for once.
This weekend was crazy. Saturday night I worked. The Reggae Cowboys were playing. If you have not heard these guys. Your missing out. They are awsome. First of all. When there are large parties at Salty's, the booze tends to fly. People tend to get drunk. As well as the staff. I unfortunitly had to open this morning as well so I had to behave.
Except by then end of the night I was feeling no pain. And by then end of the night I mean 2am. I was exhausted. They let me finally leave at 2am even thought there was still tons of cleanup to do. I have no idea what time the rest of them got out of there at. All I knew is that I had to be back at 10 am. to work again and Everything was so sticky this morning it was grosss. So now I am so extremly tired. I have five essays due this week. And my father in law, who we see about once every 2 years is in Westbank for a week. As well as Jillians 8 year old Uncle. (Yeah wierd, I know). So we have family to visit with as well.

As well as be a mom and a wife!

I feel like my head is going to explode!!!!

S0 if I don't post for a while. You know why! Wish me luck.

Makeover
After attempt after attempt after attempt......

I FINALLY figured out to change my blog template!

Yeah! Generally I am great on computers but when it comes to this blog thing, I am only an amateur.

An amateur at posting as well. I post here and there, and then my posts lack what you might call vibrance compared to all the other blogs I read on a daily basis.

I don't love my template, I am looking for something a little cooler. This isn't really me, but it's cute. And I am just happy I changed it from that boring one I had before.

Today I read a post about 4 things she was afraid of, so I decided to do the same thing. I have never copied one of these lists but today, since I am happy about my makeover, or shall I say my blogs makeover, I decided to do it.

My top 4 things I am afraid of:

1. Any type of lake, ocean, pond, river... creature. I refuse to pick up the lobsters at work and take them to the kitchen. (I work at Salty's where we sell a lot of lobster). It's not very often you see me very deep in the lake and generally I look like a beached whale on a floaty trying to push myself off of the sand into the lake. Even seeweed, plants, and don't forget our fish tank at home. If a fish dies I have to lock myself in our bedroom until Joe flushes it down the toilet.

2. Snakes. Ewwww! I can't handle them. It's freaken me out right now as I think about it.

3. Rotten food in the refrigerator. I have a very sensitive stomach and gag pretty much over nothing. If there happens to be a piece of fruit that got forgotten in the back of the fridge, it takes me a while to get up enough courage to remove it and place it in the garbage. Generally takes some rubber gloves and toilet paper. Spills in the refigerator. Gross too!!

4. MICE, ohhh my gosh, mice scare me. We had some in our garage last year when there was construction going on in the lot next to us last winter. Eww the little things would scurry across the garage. Needless to say, Joe took care of them fast. I didn't even care how. I don't feel bad for those little suckers what so ever.

There are many more things that I am afraid of. (I tend to be a bit of a chicken). But I cannot list them all or I will be here until tommorow morning.

Cheers!

Tis the Season
I am loving the weather! Even more because it is (in my books) SLURPEE SEASON!

I absolutely love coke slurpees. I drink the usually enjoy them daily during the summer. I just wish they would make a diet coke flavour. Coke is good, but I am almost positive they are packed with sugar. I have always wondered why they don't make diet coke slurpees.

Maybe because they need that sugar to freeze?
Maybe it is because they really don't taste good?
Or maybe it is simply because slurpees are suppossed to be treats filled with sugar?

Jillian has now discovered my slurpees. She used to not realize what I was drinking until recently. I think she thought that it was pop because she doesn't like pop at all. Then she realized what it was so now everytime we are at the gas station we get the question.

Can I have a slurpee?

Sometimes, (I actually mean about 95% of the time) it ends up in a fight because we say no.

And now I can't drink them with her around because that would just be mean.

Well, I am not sure why I wrote this post, I guess I am just in a good mood because of the great weather and its now officially slurpee season.

Confession: I really have been drinking slurpees all winter. Just not as frequently.

2/3
As I mentioned in my last post, Jillian was sick. Well she is starting to feel a bit better. No more throwing up but now its coming out the other end if you know what I am saying.

Today I cleaned the house from top to bottom, change all her bed sheets one last time, scrubbed the bathroom to get rid of the germs, lysoled everything possible and washed the kitchen floor on hand and knee. Not to mention all the laundry that has piled up in the last week.

Tonight me and Joe worked (it was f'n crazy busy) I have not been that busy since the summer. But it was worth it (lotsa moolah finally). When Joe was cleaning up he ate a french fry and then got sick. After spending all day cleaning today after one kid gets sick, now I have to deal with a bigger kid (who thinks its the end of the world) that has the flu.

And the worst thing is it is me and Joe's 7th anniversary on Monday. I think I am going to have to phone the babysitter and cancel. Which sucks because we really only go out just the two of us about 2 or 3 times a year.

So, so far 2 out of 3 people in our family have had this deadly illness. I know I will get it sooner or later, so BRING IT ON!!!!!!!
