So, this of course will just be a reacap again. Believe me, we are still alive.
Christmas: Was the best Christmas ever. Usually we are in Vancouver with all my family but this year we decided to have a nice quiet Christmas and just have my mom come from Van and my sister from Calgary. We left milk and homemade cookies for Santa and asparagus for the riendeer. (We were out of Carrots). When she saw that Santa left her a note her eyes lit up so bright and she could barly contain herself. I thought her little body was going to explode. She was so great about opening her presents. We opened for about 2.5 hours strait. The frontroom was full of gifts. The highlight gift was her Littlest Pet Shop House and of course all her Littlest Pets.
Joe made the most amazing Christmas dinner. No turkey this year which sucked because we had no leftover turkey sandwiches. We did have a awsome roast beef and yorkshire puddings and asparagus. As everyone probably already knows Joe is a chef so anything he cooks is amazing. Sometimes wierd and I tend to be the one he experiements with, but usually it always is wonderful.
So this is just going to be a quick post. Jillian wanted to wait up for her dad to get home from work to spend New Years with him but she is passed out on the couch here beside me snoring away. We made chocolate covered strawberries tonight that she wanted to share with him but I think that is going to have to wait until tommorow. I hope everyone has a Happy New Year! See you all in 2007.

Well I thought that I would update again. Christmas this year has been incredibly stressful!!!! I finally wrote my last two exams yesterday. Two in one day and I had to wait until the last day. Of course I didn't know that I could have said something about this and they would have changed it for me. Figures.
My family all got here. My mom from Vancouver and my sister, Nikki from good old Calgary. YEEEHAAA! I miss Nikki. We are very close and I wish she was around more. We get along great when she is here. It's so nice to stay here for a Christmas for once. It is so hard to pack everyone up. Not to mention all the presents. Get them all in our car. It's usually stuffed so full that everyone has something on there lap and cannot see out their windows. And then the drive. Oh my, I hate the drive. Jillian is an awsome traveller, we don't ever hear a peep out of her from the moment we turn on the engine until the moment we pull into grandma's driveway. She doesn't sleep but she is great at keeping herself busy. I guess you learn that being an only child. Another reason driving to the coast sucks is, really it is not a vacation. Everyday we are whipping around to see all our family from one side of Vancouver to the next. And not to mention all my highschool buds, which I will miss this week. But most of all I will miss spending Christmas with my Papa and Grandma. They are very very special people to me. This year my Papa got very sick. He was in palitive care and somehow faught all his infections and is now almost back to normal. He is in a home now but he is alert, he's walking, and back to his grumpy old self. I love to see my Grandma too. I love playing cards and crib with her and drink vino. She is so wonderful. I am blessed to have such a great family. I am not sure if I will have time to post before Christmas. To all those people who I know read this blog but don't comment and the people who do comment. Have a very Merry Christmas. Enjoy your families as much as I will mine.

Sorry i have not posted in a while. It's exam time and all of you who have gone to school know what that is like. Stressful!!! doesn't even describe how I am feeling right now. I have already written my Math exam. Let me tell ya it was great getting that over and done with. It was hard but I did have 94% in the class before the test, so even if I do bomb it, I should still pass. Coming up on Friday I have my 2 lab exams, Earth Science and Geography. I hate Geography. What is the point of it. This is the last time I will be taking that course.
Jillian passed her swimming. She passed Salamander and is now a Sun Fish!!! Way to go. It's cool to see her starting to swim on her own considering 2 years ago she did nothing but sit on the stairs of the pool or latch onto the teachers neck. She did get into lessons with her little friend Bremma and maybe she will end up with her other little buddy Graham.
On Monday, her preschool put on a potluck lunch and a little Christmas concert. It was so cute, Jillian did a great job singing all the songs. Since then I have asked her to sing them again and of course, NO WAY MOM!!!!!!
Today we spent the afternoon outside hanging up our Christmas lights. We were one string short so right now they only go 3/4 along the front of our house, but tommorow we plan to get the rest of the lights to finish. I guess they turned out okay. Of course not as nice as all the neighbors, we never are. It really is hard to keep up with the Joanses. (not sure on the spelling).
Well there is a million more things that I could write about but my 10 minute study break is almost up and I have to get Jillian to bed as well. Hope everyone has a great week!!!

So last you all heard I was freaking out about a math test. And, I wasn't sure how I did. I know I passed, but wasn't sure how well I really did. I noticed that my teacher had posted our grades so reluctantly I checked. I got 92%, highest mark in the class. I just about fell off the couch. The average was 72%. Can you believe it. I can't even believe it. If only I could do that well in all my other courses. Maybe I am made for math. Maybe I should become an accountant? MMMM not so sure about that. But I am on my way to becoming a teacher so I think I am going to minor in math and become a math teacher. We'll see. Thanks for listening to me vent!!! Someone out there was thinking about me.
