We Made It!
Well, we made it. There was only a couple of times on the bus that I wanted to vomit. (Jillian too) but we both managed to let it pass. Jillian was an absolute doll on the bus. She was so great.
The holiday itself wasn't very relaxing at all. We were on the move constantly. We spent a lot of time with my grandpa who was just put into a home. He seems almost 100% better from the last time I saw him. He is just weak. Jillian and him were great buddies the whole time. She snuggled with him and was so gentle with him. It was amazing. My grandma babysat her a for a few hours on a couple of days which made both of them so happy. My grandma taught Jill how to play jr. scrabble. (She loves games).

I did manage to get a few hours of shopping in. It was power shopping but I managed to spend a small fortune still. Old Navy had all their kids stuff on sale for 25% off. I bought almost everything in the girls section. I did manage to get some things for myself as well. I didn't make it to IKEA though. Ohh well next time.

I did finally get to see my bestest friend Courtney, who is 6.5 months prego. She looks great. She has had a really rough pregnancy with being sick and a lot of bleeding. But they keep saying that the baby is totally healthy. I am so excited to be an antie. I am scared for her. She is going to a hospital that is small and doesn't have a anesthesiologist on site, only on call. So they really only get them in if they really really need it. If you know Courtney she is a girly girl. She cries if she breaks a nail. She will be an amazing mama though.

I also got to see my goodfriend Shawn who was going to another friend of mines birthday at a bar and asked me to go with her so she wouldn't have to take her boyfriend. I am so glad I went. I saw so many people from high school that I haven't seen in years. It was so much fun. Mind you the next morning my head was pounding. It's been a while since I have had a good hangover.

It was nice spending time with my mom too. She loves to see Jillian. We don't get to see her all much. She babysat lots too. I did manage to get to the library once to do some reading over the reading break! I knew I wouldn't get much done going down there.

Now I have to work all weekend. Tommorow I am pulling a double and then I have to work Sunday day. Oh well, I need to catch up on all the money I spent down in Van.

Jillian really missed her swimming lessons and school but I think she'll get over it. She missed her daddy tons. She cried when we left him. (thats a first) She cried all week and almost every hour mentioned that she missed her dad. It was cute. He has really stepped up since I have started to go to school. They play all day every day. He is such a great father, I couldn't and wouldn't ever ask for anything better. So supportive, he puts up with my meltdowns and always is encouraging me with school. I missed him so much.

Even though we had such a great time. It's great to be home!
