Well, we didn't make it to preschool.
Me and Joe were working last night. And when we came home, the babysitter mentioned that Jillian wouldn't eat anything for dinner and didn't ask for anything else.
She woke up this morning and said that she was hot. And it was cold....Very cold.
Then when we came out for breakfast she was freezing.
I gave her her usually honey nut cheerios for breakfast and she kept chewing them up but saying she couldn't swollow them. (which is nothing new, this happens at every meal.)
I asked her why she couldn't swollow this big wad of chewed up cheerios in her mouth. Jill said her throat hurt.
Still I did not clue in that she was sick.
We got dressed, burshed our teeth and finished her valentines.
Just as we were walking out the door, she turned and ran for the bathroom and threw up all the milk she drank to get the cheerios down that I made her try to eat.
Am I a mean mom or what! I felt so terrible. She was so brave and she made it to the toilet. And no tears.
I guess she is going to miss her valentines day at school. And her first swimming lesson today as a crocodile.
Whatta brave little girl!
