Monday was an extremly moody day for Jillian. She was cranky, argued, wouldn't listen. We all have days like this with our children but Monday was unusually bad. And I was loosing my patience by the time bed time came around.
Shortly after I put Jillian to bed I went to bed. Yes it was early, and yes me and Joe tend to be nighthawks. But I was tired after our day. As soon as my head hit the pillow I was out. I woke up later, later being about 11:30. Joe was still up. I thought I heard someone vometing. I wasn't sure if I was dreaming it or if I actually heard it. Sure enough Jillian comes out of her room crying running to the toilet covered in puke. (poor thing).
I bathed her and Joe cleaned out her room.
Monday night was a night without much sleep. We were up all night. She made it to the toilet every other time she had to be sick so that was good. I felt so bad for her.
Tuesday I decided to take the day off of school. I always liked my mom around when I was sick so I thought that we would just hang out. She was sick all day long. I was starting to get worried because she couldn't hold anything down. She just slept and watched tv in her bed.
At dinner time I put on Finding Nemo for her to watch. I began cooking dinner for me and Joe and about half an hour later she yells to me to press play on the movie. She just layed in bed watching the menu screen of Finding Nemo. (You know your kids sick when).
As of today she has kinda perked up, she is holding fluids down now and managed to eat half a peanut butter and jam sandwich.
So that has been my last few days. Rotten. But I definitally have a strong little girl. No crying except when she got sick in her bed. She made it to the toilet everytime except the first.
I told her she was sick because she doesn't eat any veggies. (Actually she has a very limited diet of what she likes and will eat). If anyone has any ideas of getting her to eat veggies, I will take all the help I can get.
Hopefully tonight will be a full night of sleep. And tommorow will be a new great day! (other than my midterm). Wish me luck.
